Travels for an exaltation of feelings

My encounters with unfamiliar societies and ethnics allow me to explore new feelings. Every discovery of another being brings me a remarkable emotional adventure which I translate through my works. Letting each of these lives cross and punctuate my own life, an evolution has been undergoing inside me. Hope gives me strength to go ahead. Different life changes continuously affect my direction and inspire me for new creations.

Such a revolution of my heart and body once lived in full youth has urged me to create. The pain which invaded my being has been transformed into pictorial creativity and sublimate my sensibility, exacerbated by this trial.

Self-taught but filled with this need of giving a part of my tormented inner life to paintings, now I illustrate this gloomy past by characters who withdraw into themselves but illuminated by the presence of light today.

I give the positive energy of my present to my colours, the joy of being to our current dark world with colours of hope.

Like how symbols, beliefs, insouciance and seriousness mix with life, my paintings share the same nature. From one canvas to another, I have learned to give more substance to every new work - serenity, dream, sexuality, violence... all that let me appreciate life better.

Travel in the depths of civilisations leaves me traces of their rites, beliefs and hopes. I associate this travel to our present by bringing back these new discovered countries in the course of the years, in the depth of my paintings.
Passing the message of cultures, ancestral customs and the past onto the present is one of my favored themes.
Being always inspired by the distant countries, particularly Asia, my spirit escaped from our civilisation and is freed to transcribe better this freedom in my creativity, creating by the quest of freedom.

Through my physical and virtual meetings, my work is fillingful and always more richly dedicated.
